From the SunStar, Dulcet Dreams
Behind Dulcet Skin is Tanya Katrina Tirambulo Javier — a self-made businesswoman with a passion for helping others feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.
Tanya's entrepreneurial spirit ignited early. At just seven years old, she was already selling yemas and cupcakes to her schoolmates. "It was there that I felt that I was really an entrepreneur," she recalls. That spark never faded — through college, she sold everything from food to clothing, not just for income, but because she simply loved the art of business.
A Dream Built from Scratch
Tanya began conceptualizing Dulcet Skin in 2012. Armed with little more than savings and sheer determination, she left her hometown of Dumaguete City for Cebu, then journeyed alone to Manila to find a manufacturer — getting lost in an unfamiliar city, but never losing sight of her vision.
When she finally found her manufacturing partner, she negotiated her way to a great deal and together they designed Dulcet's very first products: two soaps, one toner, and one serum. When that first shipment arrived — raw and unpackaged — Tanya designed everything herself, from the packaging to the paper bags.
The name dulcet means sweet — a word that perfectly captures Tanya herself: beautiful, sweet, and endearing.
200 Products and Counting
From those humble beginnings, Dulcet Skin has grown to over 200 products spanning skincare, body care, cosmetics, and perfumes. Every product is thoughtfully developed — with organic options for sensitive skin and targeted solutions for those seeking visible results.
Always Learning, Always Dreaming
As the hands-on sole owner of Dulcet Skin, Tanya never stops learning. She studies ingredients, consults with pharmacists and chemists, and designs packaging herself. She builds genuine relationships with every customer and reseller — because for Tanya, business has always been personal.
Dulcet Skin is more than a brand. It is proof that with passion, patience, and a limitless capacity to dream, anything is possible.
